Certified Welding Inspections (CWI)

WTTI performs AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) examinations.  All examinations are conducted in accordance with regulatory code requirements (AWS, ASME, API, ANSI, NAS, MIL STD, etc.) and the customers quality assurance standards.

	Examinations of base materials
	Examinations during in-process fabrication
	Examinations following secondary processing like machining, heat treating, grinding, plating, etc.
	Examinations for in-service damage such as cracking, wear, heat damage, corrosion, etc.

Qualified personnel, reliable results: Our knowledgeable inspectors possess extensive training, numerous years of experience in the field and wide-ranging industry expertise. They are either AWS Senior Certified Welding Inspectors (SCWI) or AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI), as well as ASNT ACCP Level II or Level III certificate holders for multiple examination methods (VT, PT, MT, UT) qualified in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, EN 473, or ISO 9712 and who work under the supervision of a National Registered ASNT ACCP Level III Examiner.

Our inspectors follow established, written test procedures that define the responsibilities, techniques, operational steps, and control means for specific methods of testing and test objects. These procedures ensure consistency, code conformance and the effectiveness of actual test activity so our customers can be confident about the reliability of test results. Examinations are concluded with the speedy delivery of clear, accurate reports.
