The Remote Test Facility Program allows you, the welding instructor, (as a CWI) to witness your student's tests in your weld shop. Students have the confidence of performing their certification tests in a familiar environment: their own school.

How do I become a WTTI Remote Test Facility?

	Step #1:	Contact WTTI to receive a Remote Test Facility Application Packet and specific information on how the program works. To receive information»
	Step #2:	Once you have reviewed the information, complete the packet and return to WTTI for verification that you meet the program requirements. Requirements: 1) Perform a Self Audit. 2) Instructor must hold a current AWS CWI certification. Instructors without CWI certification can opt to take a CWI course and exam, or utilize WTTI's inspectors to witness the tests at your facility.
	Step #3:	WTTI will issue a certificate demonstrating that you have been accepted as a Remote Test Facility and provide you with the documentation to begin operation.

Once you have been accepted as an RTF, here's how it works. . .

You will contact WTTI to receive the Certification Test Registration Form for each test that will be administered or fill in this form and print from our secure website using your RTF username and password.

Return the Certification Test Registration Form along with payment by check, credit card, money order, or school purchase order.

WTTI will send the Certification Test Kit once registration information and payment or purchase order have been received.

You will supervise the test at your facility, then repack and return the sample to WTTI in the original postage paid box.

WTTI will process the test through our Accredited Lab.

WTTI will issue a Laboratory Test Report, Welder Qualification Document, Welder Certification ID Card, and Welder Qualification Maintenance Log for each passing test.
